Q. What is Corazón?
A. In Spanish, Corazón means heart. And there could be no better name for what is certain to become the place for health, wellness, and relaxation in Central Ohio. Inspired by the great resorts of Europe, Corazón brings under one roof a state-of-the-art health and wellness club, an exquisite spa, a richly stocked wine cellar, delicious dining, and more. With its casual elegance, Tuscan architecture, rich landscaping, and inviting decor, Corazón is more than a destination. It's a feeling… a way of living… a place in your heart.
Q. What types of services, activities and programs are available at Corazón? A. The Club offers a wide variety of services and activities —often customized to meet the individual needs of its Members.
Programs and services include, but are not limited to:

Q. Are there any small group Social Clubs within Corazón?
A. Corazón provides a wide variety of fun and interesting small group Social Clubs that are of interest to its Members such as book, gardening, cooking, euchre, wine appreciation, travel, and music.
Q. What facilities does Corazón offer? A. Corazón is a 60,000 square foot, three-level Mediterranean-style clubhouse overlooking a resort-style pool, lakes, a vineyard, and the 1,200-acre Glacier Ridge Metro Park. The Club includes the following: Fitness:
- The Club offers state-of-the-art fitness on multiple floors providing cardiovascular, circuit strength training, and free-weight equipment.
- The Club also has an exclusive circuit training area designed especially for women.
- The Club offers exercise studios for aerobics, cardio classes, spinning, yoga and Pilates.
Spa:
- The Club is home to a world-class spa offering you resort-like services with indoor and outdoor spaces to rejuvenate, relax and renew.
- The Spa includes nine elegant treatment rooms for specialized services including body treatments, massages, couples massages, and facials.
- Full and half day spa packages are available.
- The Spa offers full salon hair and nail services.
- A Tranquil Spa Whisper Room provides the perfect place to unwind before or after a service.
- A Spa Garden with a spectacular whirlpool, fireplace and a waterfall enhance your spa experience. The Spa Garden is an Adult Only space.
Dining and Meeting Facilities:
- The Dining Room, Lounge, Pub, Private Dining Rooms, The Founders Board Room, as well as the Wine Cellar and Banquet Rooms provide members and their guests a variety of dining options — from a cup of Starbucks in the morning to Tapas plates in the evening and even delicious carry out. A covered patio, outdoor terraces and poolside tables are the perfect setting for dining and socializing throughout much of the year.
Aquatic Facilities:
- The Club has an indoor lap pool - available year round.
- The Club has an outdoor resort style pool - available seasonally.
Additional Amenities:
- Members can enjoy luxurious locker room facilities with multiple whirlpools and steam rooms.
- The Women's Locker Room has direct access to the Whisper Room and Spa Garden with a spectacular hot tub, fireplace and a waterfall.
- The Men's Locker Room offers a lounge area and pub.
- Locker rooms include complimentary Day Lockers as part of membership for members and their guests (requries locker be emptied and key surrendered at the end of each daily visit). Lockers are available for annual rental for permanent use. Learn more.
- The Club offers Playcare - { Effective February, 2008 - note that hours provide opportunities for our members to enjoy an adult dinner at the Club on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening until 8:00 p.m. }
Q. Where is Corazón?
A. Corazón is located in the residential community of Tartan West in Dublin, Ohio, which was named the "2005 Development of the Year" and "2005 Smart Growth Development of the Year" by the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio. Tartan West is located between Hyland Croy Road and Jerome-Manley Road in the northwest corner of Dublin off the Post Road Exit of State Route 33. { See a map and directions. }
Q. Who is responsible for the operation of the Club Facilities, and can Members be assessed to cover any operating deficits or capital assessments?
A. The Club was constructed and is owned and operated by Tartan Development Company (Corazón), Ltd., an Ohio limited liability company, doing business as Corazón (the "Club"). Additional management is provided by The Tartan Group and WTS International, a leader in spa and fitness management around the world. The Members do not have any ownership interest in the Club and are not subject to any liability or assessment for the costs and expense of ownership or management of the Club or the Club Facilities.
Q. What are the hours of operation? A. Hours vary for various facilities:
The Fitness facilities are open:
- Monday - Friday from 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Q. How do I become a Member of Corazón?
A. Each prospective member should submit an Application for Membership Privileges and Membership Agreement, pay the required membership fee to the Club, and be invited to membership. The membership fee paid for a Club Membership is the membership fee charged on the date the applicant submits the Membership Agreement to the Club.

Q. What types of membership are available in the Club?
A. The Club is initially offering one classification of membership known as a "Club Membership." The Club Membership allows the use of all of the Club Facilities provided at Corazón. Charter Memberships are no longer available.
Corazón also offers corporate memberships to companies who subsquently can designate additional associate designees — providing each the same privileges as a "Club Member" upon the payment of the applicable dues and fees.

Q. What are the categories of dues?
A. The Club offers two categories of dues:
- The "Individual" dues category allows only the Member identified in the application to use the facilities at Corazón.
- The "Couples" dues category allows the Member and his/her spouse who is living in the same household as the Member, and the unmarried children of each who are under the age of 18 and either living in the same household as the Member or attending school on a full-time basis to use the facilities at Corazón. The use of the facilities by children under the age of 18 shall be subject to the rules and "Junior Club Hours" as established by the Club.
- A Club Member may also allow his/her unmarried children who are between the ages of 18 and 23, inclusive, and either living in the same household as the Member or attending school on a full-time basis use the Club Facilities. The Club Member shall pay the applicable "student dues" for the months or other periods of time each such student desires to use the Club Facilities.
* In addition, unmarried Members may designate another adult living in their household as a family unit on a full-time basis to use the Club Facilities upon payment of couple dues.

Q. Are there be any child/playcare facilities at Corazón?
A. Yes. The Club offers its Members playcare for their children six months to eleven years of age. A child may spend up to two hours per visit in playcare, but a parent must remain at the Club the entire time his/her child is in playcare. Advanced reservations are presently suggested and may be secured up to 48 hours in advance. We may require reservations as usage patterns increase. { Effective February, 2008 - Playcare hours have been expanded!} Contact Elizabeth Jutte if you have any questions.
Q. Can my children enjoy the Club?
A. In order to provide the utmost pleasure for all Members, the Club has designated hours when children under 12 and Juniors ages 13-17 are permitted to use the Club Facilities. These hours are referred to as Junior Club Hours. Note effective January 24, 2008 -" Family Hours" have been expanded.
- Juniors who are 15 - 17 years of age may use all authorized Club facilities during Junior Club Hours Unaccompanied.
- Juniors 14 & Under require adult or personal trainer supervision
- Juniors 12 & under are not allowed to use Fitness or Locker Room Facilities EXCEPT when utilizing a personal trainer or participating in an approved Junior Fitness Class (watch for these! - coming soon...)
All Children and Juniors may use the pool facilities daily from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - pool rules remain unchanged
In addition, Juniors 13-17 years of age may use the fitness and locker room facilities of the Club daily from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. upon completion of a Fitness Room Orientation. Those Juniors 14 & under must be under the direct supervision of an Adult member or Personal trainer.
The Club offers exceptional dining options for Members to enjoy with their families and friends. The Club is adopting an Adult Only dining policy Thursday, Friday and Saturday, as well as for weekday lunch service when it begins in March. However, children ( Juniors ) are welcome at all times during Junior Club Hours in the Deli Café, and Sunday, Tuesday nd Wednesday nights for Family Dining.

Q. As a Member at Corazón, can I use any of the facilities at Tartan Fields Golf Club?
A. Members at Corazón are invited to become Golf, Sports or Social Members at Tartan Fields Golf Club, and become what is known as a "Tartan Group Member." Our Membership Office would be happy to provide interested individuals with additional information on these Tartan Memberships.
Q. As a Member at Corazón, can I use any of the facilities at Riviera Golf & Country Club?
A. Due to a new reciprocal agreement, members at Corazón are now invited to enjoy Golf benefits at the Riviera Golf & Country Club! Their members will be offered the opportunity to join us here at Corazón. Seasonally, you may enjoy either 18 holes of golf for $55 or 9 holes for $35 (cart inclusive per round per person). Note there are some limitations on weekend Tee times. We keep brochures at the main desk with up-to-date information.
Q. May I invite guests to Corazón?
A. Having your friends and family enjoy the Club with you is a wonderful benefit of membership. Members are welcome to invite guests to the Club. Each Membership used to include 6 complimentary guest passes; however, effective January 2008, all memberships will now receive 10 complimentary guess passes. Once complimentary passes are exhausted, guests using the fitness, tennis or pool facilities will be charged a guest fee. These fees will be charged to the member account.
All guests are subject to the rules and regulations adopted by the Club to preserve the exclusivity of its facilities.
Q. Do Members at Corazón have any priority when making spa appointments, and do they receive preferred Member rates (discounts) on spa treatments?
A. Yes. While the Spa is open to the public, Members at Corazón have priority when making appointments for Spa services and treatments. Members receive a discount on all spa treatments, as well as hair and nail services.
Q. Do Members have their own locker?
A. We have an ample supply of "Day" lockers available provided members and their guests abide by our rules. Day lockers are available on a complimentary basis and require that lockers be emptied with surrender of the key upon daily exit of the facility.
Members may elect to to purchase a locker for use on an annual basis.

Q. Is any portion of the Club Facility available for use by non-members?
A. The Spa at Corazón is open to the public. In addition, the Club allows use of certain meeting and banquet space by non-member users based on availability and upon payment of the required fees in compliance with the rules established by the Club. In November 2007 we opened our Restaurant to the public on a temporary basis until further notice.
Non-members cannot secure dinner reservations, and members are strongly encouraged to always call for a table reservation to ensure your preferences.
Q. What happens upon the resignation of Club Membership privileges?
A. Club Members who desire to resign their membership privileges should give the Club 30 days prior written notice. All dues and fees will cease on the effective date of the resignation.
Q. Do Members of the Club have an opportunity to provide input into the operation of the Club?
A. The Club is committed to providing the types of services, programs, activities and events desired by its Membership. An Advisory Board composed of Members at Corazón was formed to enable Members input on the foregoing items, as well as other matters of Member concern.
